In recognition of Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11—and in celebration of America 250—the Cincinnati Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will host a Historical Presentation at Hopewell Cemetery on Saturday, November 7. This educational program may feature both a musket volley and a cannon volley, offering residents a unique opportunity to experience living history.
The American Legion Post 630 will also lead the annual effort to mark every veteran’s grave at Hopewell Cemetery. Community members are warmly invited to participate in honoring those who served.
Activities begin at 10:00 a.m.
No registration or RSVP is required
Hopewell Cemetery is the resting place of approximately 400 veterans, including individuals who served in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and the Civil War. This event provides a meaningful way to pay tribute to their service and preserve their legacy for future generations.
We extend our deepest appreciation to the Sons of the American Revolution, American Legion Post 630, and all volunteers who help preserve the history and dignity of Hopewell Cemetery.
This event is rain or shine so please dress for the weather and allow extra time for parking.
